Edwardian Men´s Cycling Breeches about 1890 Sewing Pattern #0316 Size US 34-48 (EU 44-58) PDF Download
This is a sewing pattern for men´s cycling breeches worn about 1890.

From 1870 trousers like this model were worn especially for cycling. The pattern is quite similar to riding breeches so it allows enough room for movement even to ride a penny-farthing.

From 1890 there was a real hype about cycling, now bicycles where available for the working class too.

Simultaneously a cycling fashion style developed, a so called "Norfolk" Jacket was typically worn together with cycling breeches. But even stockings, shoes and caps for the fashion-conscious cycler were released.

Also suitable for steampunk costumes.

The pattern comes with detailed and illustrated sewing instructions in English and German.

It is a multi-size pattern, you can choose between US 34-40 (EU 44-50) and US 42-48 (EU 52-58).

This is a PDF-Download pattern, immediately after payment you can download both sizes of the pattern.
